Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES) is the only event in Oman that serves the entire oil, gas, and energy industry and is the Sultanate’s leading international event for the sectors.
Under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MoEM) and hosted by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), OPES provides an effective business and networking platform, serving as a key meeting point for energy professionals, oil and gas companies, policy and decision makers, and stakeholders.
The next edition of OPES will be taking place from 12 – 14 May 2025 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat, with the event expecting to welcome more than 30,000 attendees, over 300 exhibiting organisations and at least 1,500 conference delegates.
The event attracts key players from across the energy value chain, including oil and gas companies, renewable energy firms, technology providers, and government entities, creating a fertile ground for exploring solutions that will shape the future of energy.
OPES will incorporate a series of activities throughout the event including the exhibition where leading companies from the oil, gas, and energy industries will showcase innovative solutions and technologies as well as the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Conference whereby top experts will discuss new challenges and opportunities in the oil and gas sector. Attendees will also be able to participate in the free-to-attend OPES Talks programme which provides a platform for sharing ideas and insights from industry leaders through presentations and panel discussions.
At the upcoming edition year OPES will also be hosting a newly added C-Level Roundtable facilitating dialogue with senior government officials, c-level industry executives and policy makers to explore strategies for achieving decarbonization, ensuring an affordable and reliable energy future.
Oman Petroleum & Energy Show is set to be co-located with Oman Sustainability Week for the very first time in 2025. With both events jointly taking place at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, the co-location will bring together policymakers and key stakeholders from across the energy and sustainability verticals under one roof.
